Booking Courses

To book a course

Please check the availability of a course before sending a booking form below. We try to keep this website up to date with the latest availability as much as possible. If there is a place available we will hold it for 7 days to allow time for your course fee to arrive.

Course Fees

Payment can be made via bank transfer, cheque or PayPal.

If paying via PayPal, we will send you a PayPal invoice to the email address supplied in the booking form below. We offer secure credit or debit card when purchasing through Paypal.

Alternatively, you can purchase courses via our online shop at www.rebeccashaberdashery.co.uk. When you confirm your order at the checkout you will be passed to the Paypal website to complete your transaction.

You do not need a Paypal account to make a payment to us through Paypal.

If paying via bank transfer or cheque, details will be sent to the email address supplied in the booking form below.

Confirmation

We will confirm in writing that we have received your booking form and course fee.

Booking a course for a friend or relative?

If you are booking this course for someone else to attend, please enter their name in the course details box below.

To inform us of special requirements

If you have already booked a course and wish to inform us of any dietary or other requirements (e.g. Borrow a sewing machine for the course), please email us at info@rebeccawoollard.co.uk, at least 5 working days before the course date.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Friends and family are welcome to attend a course in your place, provided we have been notified at least two working days before the course begins. You will need to provide us with the name, address, email, contact number and any special requirements of anyone attending in your place.

Otherwise, we regret we are unable to offer refunds on courses, but can offer transfers to an alternative course date, provided we have been given enough notice (subject to availability):

More than 2 weeks' notice before the course starts – We will transfer you to another course of the same value at no extra charge.
Less than 2 weeks' notice before the course starts – We regret we cannot offer a transfer.

Students who withdraw from courses are not entitled to refunds or other reductions in fees, other than in the most exceptional circumstances.

Course places bought as gifts carry the same cancellation policy.

If we cancel a course

Rebecca Woollard is entitled to cancel any course/event at any time. In these cases you will be contacted and given the option to transfer to another course of the same value or receive a full refund of your payment.

Terms & Conditions - Current students who attend weekly courses

Before attending a weekly course (usually 5 weeks/sessions), each student must pay for the course in full. If a student attends weekly courses in succession, payment will be required on the last week of the previous course. If you do have holidays booked etc. and know that you cannot make a particular week, please let us know at the time of payment and we can then charge you a pro rata course fee.

We are a small but busy sewing school with limited places. If we do not have sufficient notice that someone will not attend a course then we do not have sufficient time to fill the place and the revenue is lost. Provided that you follow the conditions outlined below, we simply ask that you contact us about your circumstances, so that we can advise of what we can do to help.

Students can cancel or swop sessions (subject to available places) but must give us 24 hours' notice. Failure to cancel or reschedule a session within 24 hours of its start time will result in the student being charged for the session.

Students who do cancel or swop sessions, need to ideally reschedule a session within the dates of your course, this will avoid us not being able to book new students onto forthcoming sessions.
